The big bang is not fact, it is a theory. And strictly speaking it is not scientific in the sense that it cannot be tested as evolution has been. Now it is the most LIKELY explanation based upon our current understanding of physics.
Also, it does not connect the creation of the universe to evolution.

Again, Christian haters connect the big bang theory and evolution.
It's these people that distort evolution and create a negative reaction to it.
Example, StormanNorman's post below.

Again, the idiots of any movement do not detract from the validity of the movement.

Clearly those with white skin are the abnormal evolutionary product, and evolution makes it pretty clear that, while unique forms of life might adapt to local conditions, such highly adapted forms are most likely to fail to survive any change in their environment. White people really need to be seen as some strange branch in evolution that should be preserved because they might have some genetic trait that might offer some future benefit to the darker, more robust, dark skinned people.
Black people might need to plan for the future when white people are threatened with extinction from climate change. If the climate warms, white people will really begin to have a hard time surviving and reproducing. Clearly white people are white to blend in with snow, but if the earth warms, the snow will go away, the white people will become easy prey. Black people might find they have a moral or scientific mandate to set up zoos or nature preserves in which white people can survive, with the aid of black zoologists.
After all, we can expect that eventually a new ice age will begin, and the dominant black people at that time might help society adapt by cross breeding the whites in the zoos with blacks to see if some of the traits of white can be introduced into the human population.

So, evolution is about people with a certain skin color being superior to people with a different skin color?
This certainly would explain why Liberals embrace evolution.

Science can been seen as a movement. I am not a dogmatist enough to pretend otherwise. In Science's pure form it isn't a movement mind you, but there are too many people who call themselves scientists who are not practicing pure science to say that it isn't.

I see today's science as nothing more than Political corruption that cost the taxpayers billion$$$ each year in waste.

Unfortunately, science as a discipline has been co-opted by commercialism, "academic capitalism", and subsequently politics as much as any branch of human endeavor has. However pure science is still what it always has been, a mode of thinking that allows one to understand the dynamics of nature.
And even if corrupt, it still doesn't take away from the point that evolution is fact.

If Darwin were alive today, he would be hooted out of the scientific community because he was not a trained scientist and because of his outrageous views about black people. Darwin thought that blacks were closer to man's ape "ancestors" than the white race! Wonder what Jesse Jackson thinks of that?
