Jimmy Carter was a broker for ME peace, and worked deliberately to this important end.
The man was honored also with the Nobel Peace Prize.

So was Arafat. Carter didn't get the NPP for anything he did, he got it for sucking up to some asshole town council in Norway.
The Israel-Egypt peace plan was his lone foreign policy triumph. And yes he deserves a lot of credit for that. Most of us are talking about his post-President foreign policy efforts. |
