Tim Donaghy worked game three of this series. If anyone remembers (George O probably does) they will remember it was a poorly officiated game all around. I bet the Suns are real happy that it took the FBI two years to investigate this case - the Suns/Spurs game was the last game that he officiated. It was kind of a big game.

While Stern is at it, he should return Brian Hill's 25K fine (with interest) for criticizing Donaghy's officiating of a Magic game.

Actually, it was game four that most Sun's fans should be upset about. That is the one that caused Amare and Diaw to miss game five; the one where Horrey sent Nash into the scorer's table.....

I agree......this investigation is going to really get interesting especially if Donaghy flips and names other NBA referees who were gambling as well. Game 5 was so poorly officiated.......the spurs were able to get away with alot of blatant fouls thru out the game. Wouldn't it cause an uproar if one of the refs in game 5 had also bet on that game in favor of the Spurs!

Hmmm...the stuff Stern said today, I think he needs to keep his mouth shut right now. He says "there is only one guy involved"...that is asking for real trouble when they find even one more. Stern has no idea what will get uncovered at this point.
