I'm not a NASCAR fan, never have been, nor a big sports fan, except Michigan State University. But, my better half, not a NASCAR fan, had on ESPN...and decided to sit and watch with him. He was watching the "The Dale Earnhardt Story" movie. I only caught the last 45 minutes...but it was a wonderful tv movie. Which movies did you see on espn "3"?? I did not know the "Dale Earnhart story" was on cable or Direct t.v. yet. (I thought it was still playing in the theaters where they were racing)

I missed it. I did catch Flight 93 on the History channel earlier. Seen it before but it's still a tear-jerker. Hard to believe 9-11 was 6 yrs ago this year.

To be honest, I never heard of Dale Earnhardt until he died and now I hear about him quite a bit. People are wearing tee shirts with him all over it AND they now sell kids' plates with his face on it. Grandson has one, but prefers his Spider Man plate. lol.......

Just found out the other day that one of my good friends, an educated, successful business woman is a BIG NASCAR fan and I was surprised. I had thought that those fans were all red necks. Guess not.
