Default without fanfare....

So the MLB draft went off with a big....whimper.

And again half the top picks came right out of high school. So where is the outrage...the demand they go to college...'they are too young, and too inmature'...blah blah blah...

The MLB draft is unique in that hardly any of the draftees will ever step up to the plate in a Major League game without toiling a few years in the minors. It is not like the NBA or the NFL where a draftee will be on the field just months after being drafted.

Michael Jordan and Dieon Sanders, spectacularly gifted natural athletes that they were; Without equal in thier respective sports were mediocre, at best as baseball players.
