This is a tough one. The older guys were pitching machines often going the distance and w/out set and releif. I really can't just come up with three.

I haven't seen the statistic, but I'd bet Koufax has the all-time record in 1-0 wins.

Hey Ken, it seems ot me that the Dodgers need to worry more about their baserunning than their pitching. That snafu in the second may go down as the worst baserunning mistake in baseball history if they lose this game and series. I am sure there have been plenty of other baserunning mistakes, but I can't remember one that bad in the playoffs. I do think the Braves beat the Twins in 91' if they would have ran the bases better though. Of course, the Dodgers did it all in one play rather than spread it out over a couple of games.

There was one real bad one last year in the play-offs (just stupid, it ended in a doudle or triple play)...I hate to say it but it might have been the Cards...was it the Astros? Seems like an NL team...can't remember.

They have these in the CWS every year, some not so smart college kid gets way out in front (on the basepaths) of the play that is going on and messes things up. There was a bad one in an Oregon St game on thier way to the series this year I think.
