Hockey is a game for morons who are to ignorant to engage in "thinking men's" sports. I have never known a hockey player with the intellect to perform even the most menial of tasks such as---"having a meaningful and intelligent conversation". I am sorry to inform you but Hockey players are not real men.

Obviously, you know very little about hockey, Perhaps it would be best for all concerned if you stayed out of this thread.
Meanwhile on the ice, I was rather disappointed in tonight's outcome. I think the layoff hurt the Pens, particularly their power play. I have a feeling the game would have been much different had the Penguins been able to score on at least one of their 3 opportunities they had in the first period. They don't get the power play going, they're going to be in for a long series. The Red Wings played pretty well, as did Osgood, and once they get the lead, they are doubly tough. It's only one game though, we will see what happens in a couple days, the Pens need one in Detroit.

I think the Pens, like the Stars before them, don't understand how to play Detriot yet. Took the Stars a few games to figure it out. If Pittsburgh has a chance they had better learn fast and win game two or at worst win their two home games. I agree with you with that the Pens missed early opportunities, they can't do that again. Detriot looked like the better team, though. Their defense is so solid. Every player they have back there is well above average. Samuelson's goal was awesome!

Guess what motherfucker? I do not give a shit what you think and I will post on any fucking thread I desire to post on. Quite a few AWE members have told me that "upton is a basic dumb ass and quite annoying". Now I know what they mean. Oh yea, fuck off.

Man, game two was no better than game one. Who would have thought the Penguins would have been shut out both games? Right now, it almost looks like men against boys, the few chances the Pens are getting they're not converting.
I was a hoping for a long series, the Penguins don't win game three at home, it could be a sweep. Hopefully home ice will turn things around. BTW, whatever happened to Evgeni Malkin? It's like he's hardly even on the ice, he had 0 SOG in game 2 after having only one in the first game.

Being I know a bit more about hockey than you do, perhaps you can enlighten this board with specifics as to why you feel the way you do. If you can defend it, great! I'd like to hear it. If you can't, shut the fuck up and go elsewhere.

Game three was played more like I expected the series to be played as a whole. I hope the rest of the series is just as exiting, regardless of who wins.
