Well, I am glad it is over because I have not hidden my feelings about Ohio St., I do like them. They are the #1 team in the country without a doubt and have a very powerful, experienced offensive attack. Good for you Roman, I am glad you got to see them play so well in Austin.
But...Hook 'em! and I hope the Horns can regroup and win the Big 12 and get around 9 to 11 wins...

I want to play USC in the game becuz I can't stand them and beside these two teams never play. Playing Notre Dame would be fun and hyped but I would love for OSU to beat a west coast team.
By the way Cat, did you see a OSU had around 40k in Austin for the game, not in the game but still impressive ocnsidering how far apart these two great states are!

That must have been the overflow crowd they were talking about down around the corner from the stadium on Red River Dr in the Erwin Center watching a big screen thing (BB arena).
I really want to see you guys play USC too. I want to see another beat down of that team; I never, ever get tired of that. I loathe USC (as you know), I had grown up out there in LA and got to go to a game at the Rose Bowl where UCLA stuck it to USC in the big rivallry game. I hate when USC beats up on UCLA. I would like to see someone come in and really put the wood to USC like they did to Okla 2 years ago. That was so painful to watch, I made the BIG 12 look like a bunch of idiots. I would like to see the BIG 10 go to the Rose Bowl and nail it too them...it would be the FIESTA BOWL this year though?

I wouldn't get too depressed, Colt learned a lot tonight and I think he showed some good things but just could not get these guys going. He will learn.

Yeah, we ususally go to a game at the shoe every year but this year there are no public buy ticket options, students and alumni only. The cool thing they have a couple blocked off tail gate areas with giant screens to watch the game on for those who can't get in. You wouldn't beleive the thousands that drive to Columbus to watch OSU on a screen! That's why I live college football, the whole experience so much better than the NFL in my opinion!

I just got the 'History of Texas FB' DVD that just came out this month. Colt McCoy looks a lot like Major Applewhite in the way be does everything. In my opinion that is a good thing and Applewhite was better than Chris Simms who had won the QB job from him (it was total BS). That whole thing screwed Applewhite (who is now a QB coach for Rice) and has been a boon to Simms who is with the Tampa Bay Bucs. All because of Simm's dad Phil...Applewhite is one of the highest rated passers EVER for Texas while Simms threw a lot of interceptions. I digress...
McCoy has an arm and look like Applewhite...
Hate to sound this way but they are off on one side and then James Brown and Vince Young looked more like one another...I don't mean that to be racist at all...it is just how the two sets of guys look running and passing...three of the four are great...I have never thought Simms is all that good, way too much hype on him...sort of the way Bob Greise's son was hyped so much. Peyton Manning has come through and is actually better than his dad Archie.
Again, McCoy should be fine.
