Default Hey Cat's - FSU/Miami

Alright. The game is about to start. Lets hear your prediction before the FSU/Miami game. I say FSU in a defensive battle.

I have it on too, in the other room. Gosh, I have to admit, I have not really considered these two as top 10 teams so did not 'scout' them that much on the internet/ESPN. The meanest and most productive DBs in the NFL have come from the two schools so you could be right, Texas has only come on in that department in the last ten years. Miami and Fl St pretty much have cornered the market in output for defensive players since Nebraska has fallen so far.

I'll get back to you at the half...no predictions from me sir.

FSU is getting 3.5 and the over/under is 38.

Corso just sort of summed up some things...

FSU has been out of the top ten in the last 5 years and has not been able to beat Miami since 1998...hmmm.. I honestly have felt like Bowden has slipped too.

If it is going to be about defense I don't think this sort of total can happen.

They said the same things about Joe Pa. Bowden is like Brett Favre. Even if it is time to go, it will be him who makes the decision.

Joe Pa. Not only a great coach, but a great person. I am sure you are aware of how much money he raises for the university. Not athletics, but academics. Old School Coach.

I was told he basically built the Penn St library with money he gave and raised, that is truly awesome. He said he is very proud of that, even more than his FB accomplishments.

Back to the game...

These are two of the fastest, hardest hitting defenses I have seen all weekend. Three guys are on the ball immediately. Three helmets popped off already. I wonder how many NFL scouts are at this game...
