I say the Bucks get some revenge and win! The combination of Troy Smith, Tedd Ginn Jr. and Antonio Pittman is too much for the UT defense!
Normally I like to see Ohio State lose. But not when they are playing the 'Horns.

Default Roman: Texas Update At The Half

Amazingly enough I am getting to watch the Texas/North Texas game...

Roman...here is what I see for next week...

Texas is right now up 28-0 at the half, it is all Texas defense, they have allowed only one first down. Texas offense is OK but it is the running game that they will have to use to beat Ohio St. The passing is not bad but the rhythm is just not there yet. QB McCoy is clearly the starter now for the Longhorns, Snead does not look that good (played one series and out, got into trouble a couple of times).

I will get back to you after the game....

Default Roman: Texas 56...UNT 7

Here is what your guys have to deal with next week...

The Texas defense is pretty hefty...big, fast, and they hit hard (especially the defensive backs). They allowed the one touchdown right at the start of the 2nd half then shut UNT down again. The bounce back quickly, as you saw all last year...I do think they are better this year. Your Buckeyes might be a real test for them.

The Texas offense is good but they do have to find the rhythm for the entire game and if Brown decides to platton these two QBS I will just scream. McCoy overall looked good and Snead need to take a few more snaps to get his feet wet.

It could be very good next week and I have the Ohio St, N. Ill game on and will check back in with you once I see some of that game (I will try to see a bit of it).

Hook Em Horns!!!!

Need to do yardwork so I can't watch all of your game, sorry.

Both teams looked real good, especially McCoy, Ginn, & Smith. Like I said before its gonna be a good one! Lets se how the rest of the teams do, Tenn kicked Cal's arse, they could be a sleeper.

BTW, someone told me Ohio State/Texas line is 2 points for OSU.

That 2 points could tighten up this week with the performance Colt McCoy had. The TX defense did a fantastic job of allowing McCoy and the offense some breathing room and even came close to having a safety late int he game. OSU/TX will be THE GAME next weekend. Good luck to you and your guys too, it should be very exciting...those are two very good teams, they both showed it today.

I watched some of the Cal/TN highlights and Cal was ranked WAY TOO high. The Cal defense looked horrible, all arm tackles and were taken out of the game early. TN had rehired David Cutcliff as the offensive coordinator and Philip Fullmer kicked a bunch of the idiots off the team on the off season. It has made big difference already, TN will be a force in the SEC this year; they are back.

I am (sort of) watching the USC/Ark game and the Hogs are really disappointing me with all the bad ball handling (three fumbles). They will have to have a much better second half to stay in this thing.

Yeah but USC doesn't look all that hot and niether did ND, both I think are over ranked while WV should be in top 3 and top in top 6. I don't see anyone beating WV, their schedule is cake. I don't know if it will be as fun as last season but I think this season should keep us on our feet.

WV has THE easiest schedule, does that make it so they should be in the national championship at the end if two other teams happen to go undefeated?

They are going crazy on ESPN About USC...Arkansas handed over to USC, that was not a good game. USC did not look as good as Texas or Ohio State today. ND needs to make some real adjustments, they will have two or three losses before you know it if Weiss doesn't do something...they have Penn St next.

West Virginia should run the table. Their toughest game will be at Louiseville, and it should be the only team that really has a shot at them until the Bowl games.

The team that nobody on here is talking about is Auburn. They will be atleast third and maybe second after next week. ND will probably drop becasue of a lackluster performance, although with the computer rankings they might not be hurt too bad. Georgia Tech is tougher than any team that the top five in the country faced.

Auburn is good but after seeing the top SEC temas today I am not sure how easy this is going to be for Auburn...the list is this they have to get through:

Alabama
TN (offense is 180 degrees righted from last year)
FL
GA
LSU

All these teams are for real and TN looks good now, the SEC continues to be what I have always thought the most brutal of all conferences year after year.
