Rugby

Rugby players could both outlast soccer players in terms of endurance and out-hit football players. It is a real man's sport.

In my opinion the greatest sport on the face of the eath is long distance bicycle racing like the Tour de France. Look at all the aspects of peddling a bicycle for days, up and down mountains etc. The endurance, strenght and skills involved outstrip all other sports, especially team sports.

Football, the real kind, not this stuff that people in America call football.

Underwater basket weaving.

I love American football. Can't get enough it. It is my second favorite sport. My true favorite is Boxing. It is a sport I took part in in my teens and still incorporate into my work-outs.

There is a true beauty to boxing. Two men, usually of close to equal size, stripped of almost all protection, and trying to best one another in unarmed combat. No matter what the race, language spoke or God worshipped. The best man wins. Nothing more simple than that.

I find even that, more entertaining than soccer. Guy laid out by a simple headbutt to the chest? Come on! We have guys spearing each other with helmets at full speed.
