Peterson is easily in the catagory of Sanders and Sayers in terms of lateral body movement and what he can do in terms of shear break away speed.
I was on campus doing grad work when Ricky was there, on the street he was known as a 'pot head.' Ricky is another who can be very exciting to watch but his problems are mental.
I had just come back to school when Priest Holmes was already there, I am sorry to see him have to leave like this but he is making the smart decision. Holmes is one of the hardest working athletes to come into the NFL from Texas...Vince Young is like this too. Another Texas running back to look out for is Selvin Young (on national championship team with Vince Young) and had to come to the NFL as a walk on due to a shattered ankle. He was on the Monday night game the other night and is back to his form as a top RB, he looked pretty darn good. The next one to come from Texas will be Jamaal Charles, he is lighting fast once through the hole; he was an All Big 12 and AAU level sprinter. Like Bob Hayes was with the Cowboys (fastest man on earth), this guy is a true runner in the literal sense of the word.
