RIDGEFIELD, Wash. -- A man visiting from South Korea is dead after he fell into a water hazard at a Ridgefield, Wash., golf course.
Clark County deputies said the 50-year-old man was golfing at the Tri-Mountain Golf Course Sunday morning when he slipped into a water hazard near the 14th fairway.
Investigators said the man’s son, who lives in Beaverton, jumped in after his father, but he could not pull him from the water.
Rescue crews pulled the man from the water and were able to get the man’s heart beating with CPR, despite the fact that he was in the water for 45 minutes.
