Default USA-Brazil

On September 9, at Soldier Field, in Chicago, The US Men's national team will face off against Brazil. This is what I've been waiting for! Finally the US is scheduling good games that will prepare us for major tournaments and competitions. In the near future, we will be playing Sweden, Brazil, and Switzerland. This news has made my day!

It is about time, but it is so simple for the States to make the World Cup I can't see you learning much from the game at all. A friendly means little and I know this better than you.

You obviously don't know this better because you don't see the problem. Because the US plays shitty WC qualifiers we get our confidence up and then get out asses kicked when we play someone good in a meaningful competition (excluding Mexico). If we play friendlies (even thoug they are meaningless) against good teams like Brazil, we will be prepared to play good teams in important comptetitions like the WC. You're missing the point of scheduling this game. If the people who scheduled the games thought with that attitude we'd be playing in friendlies against American Samoa and Nepal.
