The claim that Benjamin Chertoff was related to Michale Chertoff all came from one source. A bunch of other sites just copied from that source and then passed it on to their readers. Just like the insurance angle they had going for a while, it comes from one source and spreads. Fortunately for the CTers on here they haven't seriously attempted that argument. They were for a while, but they must have found out how wrong it was.

The Popular mechanics thing is jack. Theres as amny out there stating the exact opposite.

Theres nothing that can be found online to indicate any units in PA avalible capable of shooting down that plane. I cant find any F-16 units tht could get in the air and to that site in the little time they had.

That said Ive still never seen that plane or any wreckage.
