Are we letting the 9/11 attackers get away?

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, June 28 — The Pakistani president, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, was warned this month that Islamic militants and Taliban fighters were rapidly spreading beyond the country’s lawless tribal areas and that without “swift and decisive action,” the growing militancy could engulf the rest of the country.

The warning came in a document from the Interior Ministry, which said Pakistan’s security forces in North-West Frontier Province abutting the tribal areas were outgunned and outnumbered and had forfeited authority to the Taliban and their allies.

“The ongoing spell of active Taliban resistance has brought about serious repercussions for Pakistan,” says the 15-page document, which was shown to The New York Times. “There is a general policy of appeasement towards the Taliban, which has further emboldened them.”

Don't you think we ought to be paying the taliban back for what they did to us? Or do you think it doesn't really matter that they are growing?

It has nothing to do with WE! Are we letting the master minds of 9/11 get a way? afterall Bush has allowed Osama to roam freely btwn two countries and had allowed Osama to escape when he was surrounded in TORA - BORA back in 2002. One has to wonder why Bush has allowed Osama to stay alive and free for so long now.

Countryslim, I know it must be very frustrating to fell that Bush gets blamed for every ill in this country. It is also very frustrating to see people that voted him into office, not hold him accountable for his actions, but instead continue to make excuses for his mistakes.

What is frustrating is reading the same old tired and worn out playground diatribe and knowing these accusations are coming from the mouths of Adults when in fact they mirror the actions of grade school children in the pettiness and depth while being unawares that they are mostly debasing themselves and are also Embarrassing the Hell out of me.. Hey, I voted for Bush four times already, Two for Gov. of Texas and two for Pres.

Its sad, but with the Zoo collection I've seen so far, it looks like I'll have no choice but to vote for him again in 08..
