The particular age at which they were bethrothed is actually rather unimportant. By global costomes, however, the marriage would not have been consumated until she was of age.
Your continued Islamaphobic Verbal Lemming Syndrom statements also ignore some rather basic physiology facts as well.
At 6, or 9, a child is not developed enough to accept a man within her.
