KK I was taught that the definition of sin is a willful trangression of the will of the known will of God. I were to become very angry and contemplate killling my neighbor, but failed to follow through on that thought, then legaly I couldn't charged for my thoughts. But in the spiritual arena, I would be guilty of a sin because of my impure thoughts against my neighbor.
I hope this explains my thought process and belief sytem.
