It has the creationists going crazy.

Ben Stein narrates it. The movie is pro-creationism. It gives sympathy for those poor creationists and Intelligent design believers. They call them delusional. I wonder why.

On topic, Cannibal Holocaust is a damn good film. Not only becuase it does the Blair Witch Project "this is real recovered footage" thing way before that movie made it popular, but also becuase it's scary as hell and has all kinds of good satire, although at the end they hit you pretty hard over the head: "who are the real cannibals?". Obviously they wouldn't ask if it wasn't us.

Anybody who wants to see it can find the whole thing on Google Video just by searching the title. And yes, I'd be way into discussing the philosophy of the movie.Social Darwinism, the thin veneer of civilization, all that good stuff.

the reaction when they get to the scene where they reverse rape the white girl as they're running away bugged out those producers; but the scene of the white guys raping the Indian girl before the tribe stuffed her on that pole was still shown at a point in the film where the producers were interested in producing the project. It sort of reminds me of the inconsistent morality of our media, nude magazines are 18 years and older but if those women are poor black women, or tribal women, its called National Geographic in which case those tits are educational. Somehow a white girl being the victim of rape resonated more.

I refuse to watch this filth, but I know a bit about it.

There are many marks of a man who needs his face removed with a cheesegrater, and mere toleration of this kind of media is one of them.

If I knew anyone vile enough to not abhor this display of moral lack, and knew I'd get away with it, I'd murder them, slowly. And regardless of whether I'd get away with it, I'd definately make the person hurt. Bad. Believe that there isn't a shred of doubt or jest in my tone here.

There are things we should dislike, as good people.

And I'd say the guy enjoying the depiction of the rape and murder of a young girl is worse than the guy who wants to kill him for it, because I have some moral fortitude.

Morality is nothing more than the desire to give each person only what they deserve.
