Well Easter is this Sunday....LOL hide the fuckin' eggs Jesus is comin'
But Easter has pagan roots and once went by other names like Feast of Ashteroth and Festival of Ishtar. It was where the notion of bunnies and and hard-boiled chicken eggs may have had a more serious role. Also this is where the first spring breaks took place before Universities were widespread or even conceived. They were little more than tributes to that vast playground known
known as human sexuality and fertility. (HOT Damn!!) So when Emperor Constantine decided to "go Christian" he gathered a collection of well bribed and malevolently threatened clerics, and got them to adopt by vote the first ever Bible into existence ,thus around 4th century AD Christianity was Rome's #1 religion. And as with Saturnalia ,a feast which turned to Christmas, Ishtar became Easter. thus launching a compelling rite of superstition, false piety, secret hatred ,war, revolution ,counterrevolution, murderous inquisition, increased sexual misconduct, money laundering and tax fraud spanning approximately 1,700 years , a most wretched marathon that was never equaled in human history, nor may it ever be exceeded, as least not in my lifetime I pray. AMEN Happy Easter Boys and girls.

If you would've clicked on the link, it also lists it's pagan roots.

Point? Nothing in life is original, it all originates from somewhere.

Only that Christianity is a jumbled mix of Judaism, Paganism, Gnosticism, post Constintinian Roman doctrine, revision, editing, changes, pre fabricated conclusions in search of a history to support them, and a lethargy written centuries after the events it claim to heave witnessed

Not the unbroken tradition some believe

Well I ain't 100% hip to how all mechanisms of the AWE site work yet. Hence my failure to see you had 411 roots of easter.
I do not know why I care but it burns my ass that Joan of Arc was burned up,then 500 years later they apologize (Catholic church) and the little emperor with the pointy hat what sits on his throne in Rome helps her be declared a Saint.
"if by such are saints appointed, then the devil is the Lords' anointed"
Gee thanks for all that mercy dudes!!
Roasted Poontang any one??

James I of England ,here is another scandal monger, another damn fine vicar of Christ who could make even Joans' demise look like act of contrition.
Yeah he could've stopped with putting a Bible together, and saved himself a place in history as a real good guy. But Being just a religious dolt like Thin Lizzy his predecessor ,he launched another murderous rampage against heresy.
"Powder plot is not forgot twill be observed by many a sot."
HAPPY EASTER BEOTCHES!
