are you an atheist?
Surely not! I've never once heard an atheist define themselves this way. I'm a bit sick of theists defining atheism and then pussy agnostics hoping on the bandwagon to suck some theist cock. Thats why they're pussies, they hurt their own cause, they confuse the issue unnecessarily.

Thanks, I thought so, but you never know on these boards.
I am just chuckling over his calling Thomas Huxley a moron and then suggesting that he was smarter than Huxley. The bulldog of Darwin, a man who did more to spread the theory of evolution than any man alive or dead, a man who excelled in several branches of science (including inventing one or two of them) and was known and appreciated by most of the leading thinkers of his time.
I wonder what Subbies claim to fame is.

dont worry about me, douche bag, i didn't mean to knock lord Huxley the Christ off his pedestal. try and stick with the point if you can handle it... try debating the issue instead of talking about me in the third person. like i said, and i have much more reason to make the claim after you came along, AGNOSTICS ARE PUSSIES!

No it isn't. An atheist KNOWS there isn't a god (yes I understand that by definition an atheist can merely believe that there is no god, but most who call themselves atheist don't stop there). That is a different thing.
Now I will agree that agnostics and atheists have common cause on many things, but agnostics draw the line at the self-righteous attitude many atheists have. We will not become the thing that we dislike in theists.
Now if someone wants to believe in god, and live their live according to what principles they believe in, and they don't seek to impose their belief on others, then what do I care what they believe? I have no desire to argue with their belief.

Your as fucking stubborn as that idiot in the white house. Beginning to think maybe his intellectual equivalent as well......
You can make any claim you want, but that is the definition.

LOL, nope, we are smart. We let fools such as yourself demonstrate your ignorance, arrogance, petty fascist desires, and well, plain stupidity.
You are a fundamentalist. And every BIT as distasteful as religious fundamentalists.

This is unwarranted paranoia! I've already explain, firstly, that I am an atheist, and I've provided my definition of atheism which you in fact subscribe to, only calling yourself instead an agnostic. What if, atheism didn't mean what you think it means and it started to mean what I thought it meant? I think a few things would happen. Clearly, no more pussy agnostics, haha. In addition, an atheist, when ascribing to atheism, right off the bat, will be confronted with my more apropo definition, which will instantly make for a better alternative to the common mistaken definition you ascribe to.
Here, right here, is an atheist who is telling you your definition is wrong, and that atheists have a wide variety of perspectives, the least of which may be some who actively don't believe in God, but none the less my definition encompasses everyone who is an atheist, your definition excludes most atheists. Vis-à-vis my definition is better. Refute that...please... whenever you're ready (and try not repeating yourself or making me repeat myself).
