The bible is NOT a history book in the secular sense. Can't be, it was heavily edited through the centuries....
It provides SOME history....

So show me what is not the true history in the Bible.
For instance a historian backs up what is written in the Bible about Jesus life.

There is no need to disprove, what disproves itself
The existance of God is proven to be false by it's own legacy and text.
If a single word of the "Gospal" is false, ALL of it is false. Since we know that much of it is false, we can only conclude that it is all false.
End of discussion

Logic would dictate that those making claims (with the exception of uncertainty) bear the burden of proof. To do otherwise only lends itself to absurdity.

I think that ancient man created explanations for what happend in the natural world. But I happen to believe that man was created to worship God.

It simply amazing how people always say, "Since WE KNOW MUCH OF IT IS FALSE....."without ever, producing one tittle of that "much" by empirical evidence.
Many simply parrot what they are gullible enough to accept. SHOW ME THE MONEY, produce evidence of, that MUCH, which is not true. >OPINION< does not count as proof. Prove that one point in the Bible is not what it represents to be, TRUTH. BD

And I believe man was created as nothing more than a lab experiment, writ large, who then created the concept of "God" to explain those things not yet understood. There are "other beings", but that does not make them Gods, any more than you a "God" to a nat.
Think about it. Man now has the ability to clone. How much longer before he learns to "create". Does, or will, this make man a "God"?
