Rfid
Radio Frequency Identification
All of you information stored on a chip planted inside your body (most likely hand or head).
Your medical records, drivers license, bank account, credit card, and other information with you at all times inside you body.
I for one will never accept this chip as I believe it is the mark.
Your thoughts?
It is being used already in Spain at clubs for drinks.

This maybe Alex material. I might be intrested in what he has to say on the matter.
It is coming though and it will probably be under the guise of security.

Personally I see no reason that this should cause a problem. Sure, it could lead to huge privacy concerns and identity thieves could probably use it to their advantage, but in general it would make life easier. I would still be very leery of having all my personal identification right in me though. If ever one person could access it that should be able to, they would have everything of mine…..and that is freighting.
Side note to AYFR – I think I can understand where you are coming from when you say you believe this to be the mark of the beast, especially since that pertains to buying and selling. It is my belief though that the chip wouldn’t be a problem because nothing I physically do could separate me from Christ. If it demanded I renounce me faith or something of that matter, then I would agree with you whole heartedly. Just for basic commerce though? I have no problem with that.

The first institution to bring it in will be hospitals, under the guise of in an emergency we can access your medical records. Well so could Domino's pizza if they scan you. We have gone this long as apeople with out it, I say we don't need it. If you want for for your dog, ok. People aren't dogs.

Anybody with a scanner can read you. All you will be doing is walking and the freaking coke machine will scan you and bring up your info so it can market to you. Our society will go cashless. It is not a good thing, maybe if you view yourself as livestock, MOOOOOOOOO! BAAAAAAAAH!

I believe it would be very helpful if handled properly. However, it would start innocent enough, but potentially end horribly. No thanks.

I’m not saying that it should be allowed for anyone to scan us. I would hate something like that (as seen in Minority Report with retinal scanners). With the proper safe guards though, it could be very useful, but ONLY if it is secure and can only be scanned with your consent (unless unconscious in a hospital where it should be able to be done without your approval to save your life).

Wonder if the President has one? I would guess yes. The same with the rich, and famous.
