Pretty much in theology . Although I never met a Protestant that has as much fun as the Romans did . No orgies and the like .Not that they admit anyway.
But I have met a Catholic or two who has not forgot their Roman heritage .

There is a huge difference in Catholics and Protestants. Catholics worship and pray to a number of GOds they call Saints and the pope. They ask a priest to forgive them for there own sins, and believe whatever the Pope says is infallible in the eyes of God.
There is only one aspect of continuity between Catholicism and Protestantism. Jesus.
I mean, For Christ's sake, They wrote there own bible and created a 3rd afterlife called pergatory..

Most Protestants believe in the Catholic myth of the trinity one God . 3 in one all equal . That came straight from the Catholic church about 300 AD .
Makes them the same to me .

The Difference between trinitarianism, and Catholicism. Or as I call it at home, Roman Polytheist Church.
Is that any Protestant, whether an adherent to some of the beliefs of Arius, Martin Luther and others. I do not pander to the idea that I can pray or worship Saints, or think that the pope is nothing more than a man who is as just as flawed in his judgements and interpretations of the Scriptures. As any man can be.

Excuse me but you don't understand shit from shinola about the Catholic Church. Catholics do not pray to a "number of Gods". Catholics ask the saints (those would are believed to be in heaven with God) to intercede in our behalf. Catholics do not pray to the Pope but turn to the Pope as the final arbiter of the meanings of the words of Christ. Catholics do not ask the priest to forgive them of their sins but to be a conduit to God for the forgiveness of sins. Asking a priest to intercede in our behalf is Biblical no matter what some false prophets may say.
First Vatican Council, after much controversy established the concept of the Infallibility of the Pope in Matters of Faith and Morals. If the Pope said it was raining and it was not then he has no more authority than any man but since it is the core belief of the Catholic Church that the Pope actually was chosen by God to fill the role he first gave Peter when he told him upon this rock I will build my church then it follows that when the Pope speaks of matters of faith he is speaking the words put in his mouth by Christ himself.
Before you attack the Catholic Church it would behoove you to better understand its true beliefs.

The myth of the Trinity??????????
Now I am sure you are a false prophet.
How can you claim any belief in Christianity while denying the Trinity?

I agree, Mary has her own prayer, blessed only amongst women. The point is, The major sacraments are the same between Protestants and the Mother Church. If you are not Jewish, you are a Gentile. Old Testament is quite different than the New.
