Lazarus
Here's my question.
If Lazarus was really raised from the dead, would that have not been the biggest event in mankind's history?
As far as my limited knowledge goes, he was the one and only human to ever return to a flesh and blood existance, after being dead for days. I would have had more than a few questions for him.
Yet that story only gets a few lines in the bible.
I don't believe it ever happened.
Help me out here. Please.

Lazarus was not he only person that was brought back to life. There was the Centurians daughter (Jesus performed this one) and the boy that fell asleep while Paul was preaching and fell out the window (Paul performed this one)
Don't forget that there was Jesus himself as well. You have to realize that back then people did not question miracles the way they would today. Besides just how many questions could you really come up with if you just saw someone brought back to life. Most people would be too stunned to ask questions.

Also, if you think about it, there really isn't much more to tell. You could always start giving all sorts of crazy detail, but that would just discourage reading.

Lazarus Answer
Actually Lazarus did say something. It was, "I feel so refreshed! Does anyone have a comb?" My apologies to Cosmo Kramer from a Jerry Seinfeld episode.

Thanks for reminding me of the other 'raisings', but Come on!
I realize that the times we live in are totally different than the time of Jesus, but if I just saw someone brought back to life, I would be nothing BUT questions. Not questions about whether or not the miracle happened, but questions from the people to Lazarus himself. What were your experiences kind of stuff.
Besides, the folks that witnessed this event, didn't write the bible. That happened much later and the shock would have been long gone.
I believe that if it truely happened the way they say it did, it should have and would have gotten a lot more 'play'
This was a man that was dead for days and was brought back to life. Don't you think that was an important event? Important enough to elaborate at least a little more than a few paragraphs?

Since the Democrats in Chicago rise from the dead, and vote, every election, a Biblical Miracle does seem kind of small doesn't it?

"I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die" AND THEN HE SAID.... Believest thou this?

"And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God"
Not to mention many instances in the Old Testament.
"Women received their dead raised to life again"
Hebrews chapter 11 verse 35

"Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus"
John chapter 12 verses 9-11
