I have to disagree especially about the property part. For the bible tells us to not lay up treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where strong men may break in and steal it. But to lay up our treasures in heaven .

You lost me with your first statement.......What does the "English" translation have to do with the truth of the scriptures?....I fear that you might be confused between the concept of "translation" and "paraphrasing". When the text of the scripts are "TRANSLATED" they say the "exact" same thing....in any language that they happen to be translated into from the original Hebrew or Greek writing. There may be slight variations of a "few" words that hold the same meaning in several contexts but the basic writings are protected if the translation is preformed correctly...It would not matter if one would read in Hebrew or in modern English, the meaning of what was written would remain intact, whether its, the King James translation of old formal English or the New Modern American Standard Version of translation into modern American English.....the basic meaning remains "unchanged".
