Default BD my tomato's are calling me

And hubby will be disappointed if he doesn't get the dinner I promised him when he gets home.

I ask that you consider only one thing.

You said. " but we must never let our faith fall beneath the feet of any aggression... to either our life or property."

I have to disagree especially about the property part. For the bible tells us to not lay up treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where strong men may break in and steal it. But to lay up our treasures in heaven .
What piece of property or earthly possession could possibly be worth the taking of a life BD?

You lost me with your first statement.......What does the "English" translation have to do with the truth of the scriptures?....I fear that you might be confused between the concept of "translation" and "paraphrasing". When the text of the scripts are "TRANSLATED" they say the "exact" same thing....in any language that they happen to be translated into from the original Hebrew or Greek writing. There may be slight variations of a "few" words that hold the same meaning in several contexts but the basic writings are protected if the translation is preformed correctly...It would not matter if one would read in Hebrew or in modern English, the meaning of what was written would remain intact, whether its, the King James translation of old formal English or the New Modern American Standard Version of translation into modern American English.....the basic meaning remains "unchanged". I have another question about this site.

Do we have a ignore feature? We don't seem to have edit so I doubt it.

Do you know anything about this BD? Any info appreciated.

This is something that I can not help you with Dear, As I choose not to place anyone on ignore, if what they say can stand up to the riggers of retort form the many informed individuals on this site, one should at least let them have their say....sorry I could not help. BD

Default That's okay BD

I just hoped to blank out posters on this a important thread who would make sense less posts. I think you know who I mean.

Putting them on ignore may not do what I want it to anyway. I do not want to read nonsense when discussing the Word of God if you get my meaning. But at my age I should be used to people and their crude remarks that come about when you really try to discuss God in public.

Ah well, I can just roll on by and not read it when I see that name.

Thanks anyway BD

Paula

People wil take what they want from the fictious texts and justify murder if they wish to commit it. They are just as imoral regardless of what the charcters in there book say.

Can someone be a Christian and serve in the Military and or have a career in Law Enforcement? End Quote, I think free will of choice is the decider here.

Just do each well and with honor! That is the harder, taking an oath and keeping it.

Wink Christ Is Not A Pussy :-)

“Do not think that I come to bring the peace upon earth: I came NOT to send peace but the sword.

For I come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and the man’s enemies shall be they of his own household.

He, who loves father or mother more than Me, is not worthy of Me; and he, who loves son or daughter more than Me, is not worthy of Me. And he, who does not take up his cross and follow Me, is not worthy of Me” (10: 34-38

Christ did not bring peace, but the sword by Fr. Louis Claude Fillion - Forgotten Truths @ TraditionInAction.org

PEACE MY ASS........you can't get it without putting GOD in GODS PLACE....

it's a scientific universal principal....and a mathmatical fact....not a feeling.

don't buy it till ya try it.......IT'S FREE.

BE A SCIENTIST.........do some experiments yourself......HE don't want to be worshiped......He just wants to be recognized.

BUT.......for your LOVE............well

For your love.
For your love.
For your love.
I'd give you everything and more, and that's for sure.
For your love.
I'd bring you diamond rings and things right to your door.
For your love.

To thrill you with delight,
I'll give you diamonds bright.
Double dates that will excite,
To make you dream of me at night.

For your love.
For your love.
For your love.

For your love, for your love,
I would give the stars above.

For your love, for your love,
I would give you all I could.

For your love.
For your love.
For your love.
I'd give the moon if it were mine to give.
For your love.
I'd give the stars and the sun 'fore I live....
For your love.

To thrill you with delight,
I'll give you diamonds bright.
Double dates that will excite,
To make you dream of me at night.

For your love.
For your love.
For your love.
For your love.
