If Egyptians were supposedly negroes, then why are all the mummies white? If the Egyptians were negroes, they would most closely resemble the mummy of Maiherpri, a Nubian prince who lived during the reign of the Eighteenth dynasty Pharaoh Thutmose IV:



However, all of the other mummies discovered in Egypt do not resemble Maiherpri, but are metrically Caucasoid, of white to light brown skin pigmentation, orthognathous, mesocephalic, and characterized by straight to wavy hair with a variety of colours, such as blonde, red, or brunette. Many of the women were often buried with hair extensions (such as braids) and even Nubian-style wigs, which were popular in ancient Egypt. Examples include:

When will you ever listen to the afrocentrics when we say you display faulty and erroneous information?? Rather yet, when are you able to learn for yourself and able to discern accurate info on your own??

For example, you like many other Euronuts love to throw up the mummy of Maihepri above as an example of a 'Nubian', yet where is the evidence that he is one?? So far mainstream Egyptology and academia merely point out that it is probable that he is 'Nubian' based on the dark complexion of his painted image, however there is NO inscription found whatsoever in his tomb that label him as Nahasu or 'Nubian'. What we do know is that he is a powerful federal official and close associate of Thutmose IV. According to inscriptions he is a prince who educated and brought up in the royal house along side Amenhotep II. Strange that there is no reference to him being 'Nubian'. And if he happened to be one, it obviously didn't matter to the Egyptians who not only made in a state official but had him buried in the sacred burial sites of other Egyptian kings! You never hear about such privileges granted to foreigners or at least Asiatics and other so-called 'white' peoples!!

What's funny is that not only does you label Maihepri 'Nubian' but also the Lady Rai as seen below







Lady Rai was the nurse of Ahmose-Nefertari and there is also no evidence to suggest that she is 'Nubian' either, and in fact few if any Egyptologists even make that claim. Yet you use her hair as an excuse is that her hair like Maihepra is more on the 'afro' side!!

That study you refer to is based on pure speculation and is completely outdated. The more recent 2005 study conducted by Hanihara et. al., demonstrates that the teeth of Egyptians, whether ancient or modern, are very distinct from that of Negroids, who have much larger teeth. Hanihara et. al. write:

Third, East/Southeast Asians share similar dental features with sub-Saharan Africans, and fall in the center of the phenetic space occupied by a wide array of samples.

However, North African teeth (Egyptian) are not at all similar to those found in Negroids, as the above chart clearly demonstrates.

You obviously can't read a map. That map clearly demonstrates that Egyptians are highly genetically differentiated from sub-Saharan Negroids and therefore, closely related to other Middle Eastern populations such as Omanis.

Haplogroup J was clearly introduced to Egypt from Southwest Asia in more recent times (Arab Conquest). E3b-M35 is the predominate lineage in Egypt and it was introduced by tropical east Africans during the Neolithic period.

Egyptians also possess Y-DNA haplogroups such as heavy concentrations of J and E3b, as well as R, K2, G, H, and I, haplogroups which are nowhere to be found in sub-Saharan Negroid populations. The existence of E3b along the East African coast is due to Semitic Caucasoid admixture and don't forget the Ethiopians are black/brown skinned whites as I've explained and proven numerous times.

That study is practically valueless, as haplotypes mutate rapidly, and their subsequent diversity overlaps across different populations, meaning that they are not accurate predictors of the kind of SNPs involved.

The study isn't useless. It explains the Y-Chromosome variation in Egypt which is relevant to understanding the various migrations throughout Egypt's biohistory. It's your study that isn't very useful to discussing the biological affinities of the Ancient Egyptians because it only addresses the genetic affinities of modern populations.

The geography of the p49a,f haplotypes and their associated subclades notably overlap the spatial distributions of specific language phyla, and this may have implications for understanding aspects of early African population history, including the patterns of Y diversity in the Egyptian Nile valley. The genetic data, specifically the M35 subclade affiliated with haplotype V in Africa, can be related to the spatial range of much of the Afroasiatic linguistic phylum, which evidence suggests most likely originated in Africa; only one member (Semitic) is found in the Near East (see Bender 1975, Greenberg 1966, 1973, Fleming 1974, Nichols 1997, Ehret 1984, 1995, 2000). - Keita & Boyce (2005)

This only refers to a small number of individuals and does not prove that the people of Gurna are Negroids.

You Mediterranean claims are debunked by his own study. Two Mediterranean coast populations are included in the European category, but North Africans cluster closer than they. Your own study undermines his theory on Mediterranean primacy.

And strangely in this study, while the nearby Israel area provides the closest 'Middle Eastern" match, the authors conveniently exclude NEARBY AFRICAN AREAS like Nubia, the Sudan or even close geographic areas like Chad or Libya. Their "North African" sample is drawn from distant Algeria.

The Negroid/Caucasoid ruse is getting very old. The Ancient Egyptian mummies show a variety of morphological traits and their hair is consistent with that of tropical East Africans.

Strouhal (1971) microscopically examined some hair which had been preserved on a Badarian skull. The analysis was interpreted as suggesting a stereotypical tropical African-European hybrid (mulatto). However, this hair is grossly no different from that of Fulani, some Kanuri, or Somali and does not require a gene flow explanation any more than curly hair in Greece necessarily does. Extremely "woolly" hair is not the only kind native to tropical Africa. This is not to say that gene flow (admixture) never occurred, but only to reit- erate that natural variation should be considered the first line of explanation. This kind of hair, and the lack of appreciation of the Elongated African con- cept (see Hiernaux 1975), have led some (e.g., Robins and Shute 1986) to fail to view their data in an adaptive context. This results in implying that southern early Egyptians were not part of the Saharo-tropical group which includes "Negroes." - Keita (1993)
