With the nomination Barack Obama, we no longer have to cede the high ground of race to Europe, Canada, Africa or any other country or continent. We are now at the head of the line. We have leap frogged the condescending voices of the "enlightened" left in these countries.

Now, to the condescending left in this country. Is a vote for John McCain a racist vote? Can we point out that Obama is radically left without being labeled a racist? Balls in your court.

Race is the new hush-hush topic that we aren't allowed to talk about. Now that it is becoming such a huge factor in day to day life people are starting to talk about it in a big, big way.

Not really. I know that blacks used to go to Europe because they experienced less racism, but at the same time the amount of racism in Europe is extremely high and often more violent than in the US. I have an Indian friend born and bred in the UK who used to tell me of the attacks he experienced in 1990's England. We haven't had stuff like that since the 60's.
