Default Army Recruiters

-About two weeks ago I heard a program on NPR about “sacrifice” and this war. The panelists made the point that this war, unlike those in the past, require almost NO sacrifices by the people in general.

-A Stanford professor made the point that young educateds are not joining the military and mentioned that a 60’s graduating class of Princeton University had an enrollment in the military in the hundreds and in the 00’s it was in the teens…this professor found this disturbing and perplexing.

- Stanford University is in Palo Alto California which is on the peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area. The SFBA is a hotbed of anti-Americanism, and this cannot be disputed. The city of SF routinely pass laws condemning the American military. And San Francisco State University students recently attacked physically and verbally recruiters on campus.

-Today I heard that the Berkeley Unified High School District is the ONLY district that bars recruiters from campus and they are about to lose funding and BE sued by the federal government. {So much for the left’s commitment to choice}

-Recently John Kerry, the Dems presidential candidate in 2004, made the observation that dummies have to go to Iraq . {Put to rest that Kerry is a volunteer war hero. He joined a Naval reserve unit that had NEVER been called up. He was trying to NOT serve}

-On California campuses ROTC groups are mercilessly harassed.

-Fully 90% of college professors in state schools oppose this war, and 70% of the state’s professors oppose ANY military action by the USA for ANY reason including 9/11.

-

-----In light of these and other similar attitudes, is it any surprise that people don’t want to join the military out of college?

in a free and open society all ideas have the right to be presented. You may not agree with it but the folks do have a right... If lets say a campus in California refused to let gays recruit members for there clubs we would not here the end of it...

So i would think the same standard should be applied across the board... But the problem is the folks who are the biggest proponents of unpopular speach are aswell the biggest proponents of silencing speach that doesn not agree with theres...

No. In California if you even think to prevent homo activists in the school you are charged with a thought-hate-crime.

Are you kidding me... ofcourse they do..... anytime a gay persen tells someone about a club or activity or some other bullshit to a person in a classroom they are recruiting....

But that is beside the point... These campi are violating the recruiters rights by not allowing them to recruite just as other organizations do...
