When Republicans demand welfare reform it is couched by the leftist media as attacking the poor.

If supporting funding is the nexus of how you support/attack something

then the left surrendercrats cutting off the funding is an attack on the troops

the Republicans cutting off welfare is supporting the poor.

To cut military war funding is support. It is to bring the boys back home and out of the civil war in Iraq we caused.

No one thinks that war is only in or began with Iraq.....but, many believe that Iraq has been an incredibly poor strategy in this ongoing war....and one that should be put behind us...

I might not be from the state of Missouri....but someone has yet to make me believe that the congress can legaly defund a formally approved war effort....as long as the comamder in chief deems...there still is a state of open holstile action being perpertrated against US interest..terr.or our military....one must first remember that the blueprint that the liberal want to use....as that was used in Viet Nam...simply will not wash...first due to the 1973 war powers act...an act that was designed to limit the action of any comander in chief...when hostile action is imminent....another....this is not a "POLICE ACTION".....when push comes to shove...and perhaps the supreme court is called upon to settle the legality of this conflict....I for one...would like to see them "SPLAIN" away their John Hanncocks of the formal vote that put our troops in harms way.....would be interesting to see what develops...They could produce legislation to defund the war effort...if the vote would not seem like political suicide...but again....the court might find that it is unconstitutional to not provide funding for a conflict that they singend into existance....simply because they disagree with the way the ex.branch is managing said conflict....some proof would be needed that in fact...this conflict...in no way supports the defense of our nation...might be hard to do with open hostile action still being engaged by the same ones that attacked us....and openly admitt to taking such action....again food for thought.....one must consider we walk on ground that has never been crossed before...in any previous conflicts of history.....Many think that it is a simple act to defund any action by the commander in chief...which has the constitutional authority to direct..control...and deem what action is to be made. We shall see. BD
