Default Jerry Falwell Found Unresponsive

LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) - The Rev. Jerry Falwell was found unconscious in his office Tuesday and taken to the hospital, a Liberty University executive told a newspaper.
Ron Godwin, the executive vice president of the school, told The News & Advance of Lynchburg that Falwell was found unconscious after missing an appointment Tuesday morning. Falwell arrived at Lynchburg General Hospital around noon, the newspaper reported on its Web site.

When contacted by The Associated Press, Godwin said he couldn't talk at that time.

I met him once at a Pastors conference in Jacksonville FL. The world will be a dimmer place with his passing.

RIP; he was someone's son, brother, husband, father, grandfather.

But, milking people of money will be taken care of upstairs now.

The mortality of man has a price that each must pay....as God has no respect of person....may God bless his faimly in their time of grief...with his passing. BD

Lady, normally I have no complaints about you but in this case you are slandering a man who did not "milk" people of money. Any request for contributions were always in good taste and explained it was to insure that the Christian Right's agenda was made known. No one was lead to believe we were given special treatment in Heaven if we gave. It was no different then tithing to your church.

I will agree there are some preachers who are more interested in raising money than in saving souls but Bro Falwell was not one of those.
