Nader for 2008!!!
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former presidential candidate Ralph Nader on Sunday left the door open for another possible White House bid in 2008 and criticized Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton as "a panderer and a flatterer."
Asked on CNN's Late Edition news program if he would run in 2008, the lawyer and consumer activist said, "It's really too early to say. ... I'll consider it later in the year."
Nader said he did not plan to vote for Clinton, a Democratic senator from New York and former first lady.
"I don't think she has the fortitude. Actually she's really a panderer and a flatterer. As she goes around the country, you'll see more of that," Nader said.
On whether he would be encouraged to run if Clinton gets the Democratic nomination, Nader said, "It would make it more important that that be the case."
Democratic candidates he likes include former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel and Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich, he said.
Nader ran for president as an independent in 2004 and as the Green Party candidate in 2000, when some Democrats said he siphoned away votes from former Democratic Vice President Al Gore, helping Republican George W. Bush to win.

It'll be worth it to watch Michael Moore beg him to get out of the running again.

Yes, and while we are stewing because of global warming, you can all be grateful that he took votes from Gore.
I am reminded of something Molly Ivens said about Reagan, which applies equally to george:" if he was any dumber, you'd have to water him twice a day."

I wouldn't be suprised if most Texan men disliked her and Barbara Jordan and Ann Richards. They were very tough, outspoken women.

I actually liked Richards. Being a man has nothing to do with it. I know several women that think Molly was a twit.

Maybe it's because it's early and freezing out (-3 with a biting wind) but I am sick to death about this global warming business. It hasn't been proven that this ia a man made even due to greenhouse effects and it can't be proven. There are just as many scientists who are willing to testify against man's impact on the planet as there are for. While I believe that the planet is on a warming trend, if you look back in history, that's what this planet does. So, do me a favor. get off of this notion that Al Gore knows what the fuck he's talking about because he doesn't and no amount of special-effects or Oscar nominations will change that. He had over 10 years as Senator and 8 years as V.P. and he didn't do shit. Go look at the record. He didn't do shit.
This hysterical notion that all of a sudden that being Bush didn't sign Kyoto, we're all doomed is comical. Clinton didn't sign it either. His compatriot John Kerry didn't sign on either yet here is was in Switzerland last week berating the Bush Administration about the very thing he voted against (before he wished he voted for it or something like that). Yet another example of hysteria run amok. It's fucking tiring.
