The first solution is to rid ourselves of the inability to speak with respect, and to use the true mental ability we are born with without sinking into the pit of hate. If a real serious attempt to solve a problem is to be made we must use the right tools to get the job done. Once the starting point is reached then logic and reason can be applied to the objectivly stated problem. At that point there is hope for mutual success in contributing possible solutions. Remember, if only the all or nothing expectation is used the chances of solving a convoluted problem becomes impossible.

Okay, maybe he should have been a little more specific. Putting the messengers aside; what is your solution to the problem of Nancy Pelosi's plan to put one person (a democrat) in a seat that another person (a republican) is confirmed as winning?

I would leave the seat empty until an objective conclusion can be arrived at whether there was a tech. glitch caused the unclear outcome regarding the 18,000 unregistered votes.

The important thing is to insure the credability of our voting system. I was not in favor of the touch screen system because of no paper trail to verify disputed outcomes.

The fact of whether a democrat or republican fills the seat should take second place when it comes to the preception of the validity of our voting process. That is crucial for the future of our governing system as The United States under our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

If no acceptable soluition can be reached otherwise, a new election on different machines should be used to satisfy the credability question of the first attempt.

Sorry, I don't actually live on here so it's not uncommon for a post to go unanswered for a little while. In response to your "solution", you seem to be forgetting the fact that a candidate was "confirmed". If the confirmation process means nothing then why do we have it at all?
