I didn't wave anything in from Smitty, I only ask for him to comment. This is a debate site not a "Don't say anything that upsets smitty" site. I was interested in what he thought since he is so pie in the sky in love with everything iraq.

These marines are guilty! We all know this! They should fry! I hope they burn in hell for what they did! I would not have tolerated something like this in iraq from my marines! I would have fryed them myself! I know what they were feeling but you cant act off of fealings in urban combat! What happend is they got angered that they lost a marine and shot up every thing in sight! They went in to houses and murdered innocent people! They were wrong and they had no positive ID! I hope the officer that covered it up goes to jail to! They are a discrace to the marine corps and all that it stands for! Yall wanted my answer? Here it is!

Pretty much what I would expect from you, the people that were/are in combat roles that I personally have had interaction with feel the same exact way. Kix im sorry but they did do this horrindus act. I happens more than you think and they just got cought this time. We marines know what is true and what isnt. They were wrong and I hope they get whats coming to them. I had many sleepless nights in iraq with pictures of dead children in my mind that sometimes were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It takes a toll on you. I could never imagine any one to do such a thing on purpose! I sill cant sleep sometimes. |
