Well erasmus , you claim to be intelligent so I guess it all evens out in the end.

Erasmus thinks he is intelligent, but he constantly shies away from actual discussions. I actually think he is average at best because he is afraid to engage in real discourse. We cannot give up the fight in Iraq. We must finish this, and I find those postings that insinuate the United States cannot win against a third rate group of Shi-Thead Muslims to be very disgusting. No, we cannot win if we don't commit fully to the fight, which is exactly what Bush wants to do.

What does winning mean? It means bringing stability to the country, it means eliminating the threat of the "insurgents", who all seem to be from somewhere else. It means leaving Iraq in a position to defend itself and to bring safety to all the citizens of Iraq, not just the Sunnis or the Shites. I believe most of the citizens would be more than willing to live together in peace but its outsiders in the form of mercenaries from Syria and Iran that is stopping that.

I also believe that radical Islam (is there any other kind) is the greatest threat to Western civilization we have seen since the Crusades. I believe that radical Islam has as its goal the complete control of the entire world. I believe they are willing to make this a very long term goal (Christianity did not become the force it is in 100 years after all) I believe that Iraq is just the beginning of the new Crusades and is a war we must win if we are to survive as a civilization. If you don't believe this, I would suggest you stock up on Burqas for your wife and daughters
