Rupert Murdoch who owns and macromanages fox news has an agenda. this austrailian born "liberal" in that country changes political views wherever it will help him make money. Here in america with his billions it is more profitable to be a neocon...hence fox news. In Britain he owns "The Sun" pure tabloid with lots of sex and even peodphile ads in the back of the publication. In china he condemns much of what the US stands for and defends comunism.In other words he will join whatever religion,political party,citizenship he needs to add to his billionare dynasty and world power. Now most here are anti comunism so you would not like his sattelite China news and the fact he pulled the access to Fox channel from china so therefore winning the government approval because american channels were exposing Chinas human rights violations.Murdoch openly stated his reason for supporting the war was to make oil cheaper. Read all his various publications...I will be in China in Sept. I cannot wait to see his media there and his bow to comunism. I wish more professional journalist would expose this man...many have but he is very powerful and would like to buy CNN public television and our networks. the next election is crucial for him.Regardless if you are right left or somewhere in between i do not think anyone on this forum knowing the truth about this man would want to be brainwashed by him.

Rupert Murdoch is all about the Rupert Murdoch dynasty. His political leanings for each country go with whichever party will loosen foreign restrictions on foreign companies controlling their media. In fact he backed Tony blair because blair backed a bill that would allow Murdoch to take control of his media. He also owns a couple strange publications"News Of the World" You know the one where an alien mates with the president and has a baby...bizarre stories that appeal to a small number and do not influence people politically but are ridiculous money makers. Rupert murdoch formula put him in control of american news and i think that pales in comparison to the Dubai Port takeover that people were in a tither about. This is much more far reaching. His china sattelite is a communist agenda to please the chinese government. He does not have ownership because of their laws but a large share and some control.

Yes and so is the right leaning Washington post and various other publications. Actually Cnn's Anderson cooper and larry king are probably the most neutral show all sides journalists i have ever viewed. But the point I am bringing up is not really right or left this is about one person who will change and back any political party that makes media laws lax for foreign control and allows one person to own a majority. If hilary clinton tomorrow introduced a bill that said a foreign media conglomerate could control and own 100% of all media outlets Rupert murdoch would suddenly switch his party backing. He is liberal in Australia,pure trash sex tabloid in britain and pro communist in china and pays no taxes here. he has huge amounts of money in cuba and other tax havens. do you really want this guy choosing your opinion and presenting what he wants you to hear. He changes religions,political parties and citizenships and his most recent facination is with china and over there he is very pro communists and critical of the US for exposing chinas human rights violations. Like I said therre are (at this point in time) right wing slanted journals and media and left and many in between i think the US should expose this man for what he is and boycott his media outlets.

It doesn't matter which way a news service/entity leans. The bottom line is that many are seriously lacking in the substantiveness of what's reported. I'm sure Tom Crusies' life is important to some, but that's why there are entertainment channels, free internet (public library), and the National Enquirer.

Yes but the issue here is do we want Rupert Murdoch contrlling all news. how do the members feel about his USA bashing comunism is great approach to his chinese sattelite news deal or his porno tabloid in London.
