Would that it were true this is a conservative victory. With Pelosi in the Speakers Chair I doubt that very much

Perhaps this is not as bad as it first appears. As several pundits have pointed out had the Republicans won handily they would have seen that as a sign we thought they were doing an ok job. They are not, they seem to be out liberaling the liberals. The only position they have taken that anyone seems to believe is pro conservative is the war on terrorism. Now that they are the minority party they have to understand we wanted conservatives in the government, not tax and spend liberals. Many liberals will see this as a victory for the pro socialist side of the Hippycrat wing of the Democrat party. Hopefully that is not true. Hopefully this will not turn into a constant investigation into all the enemies of the Democratic Party and turn government in the United States nothing more than who can get what court to overturn what people really and truely want.
