Well, said. I just heard an absolute crazy analysis that it was OK for Bush to have handled this with Rummy the way he did (making him stay on...WTF!?). Honestly, Bush and his advisors were so egotisitical to not see that Rumsfeld and the decisions coming from him were an incredible liability that sunk this mid-term election for the party. I re-emphasize the term MID-TERM election...they should have not let that happen in an off-cycle ballot. Did they really think that this was locked in for them? Is Rove as much of an political genius as we once thought? Should he not have to take some blame in this too?

Rove is an idiot (just my personal opinion mind you)
While he may be real smart he does not really know what the people want. Which is why his campaign strategy did not work.

Rove doesn't care what people want he only knows how to play the fear card
this time it didn't work!
I was impressed by how fast bush acted,by whacking Rummy ,as if Bush had become Tony Soprano! The Democrats having Congress might turn out to be the best thing to happen to Bush,as now he is forced to be President to all the people!

Bush did what the people voted for yesterday. He is at least listening to what all parties have been complaining about. As for Rove...I'm no fan. But Bush knows where he stands with his new congress. He now has 2 years to restore faith in the GOP if there will be any hope for 08. He may play nice but he just as the democrats has an egenda.
