I don't think he's quite finished putting that little laughing dagger in. Just wait 'til your friends in DC reinstate the draft; then I'm sure it will be a laugh a minute.

They said it did affect some independent voters in some regions. At least that is what the voters said. Plus, it is not like nayone is going to forget what he said. His chances of running for president, if he ever really had a chance, are completely over with now. I am not sure too many candidates will want him speaking for them either.

Kix are you so unable to think that even if a draft became necessary you could not remeber who started an impatient needless and poorly planned war, that has caused many to not trust government decisions and has worn down our troops. that would be the reason if a draft was reinstated. No politician wants a draft. Either party could be forced because of the ineptitude of Bush from the past 6 years.

If iraq continued to go down and McCain or Clinton were president and needed to start a draft do you think it would be McCain or clintons fault. NO it would be because of this administration tying us into a war of no threat and empowering our enemies. I t would be because our president fears directly facing the leader of iran and n. korea as REAgon or clinton or George H would have and causing those threats to bloom. it would be because bush did not listen to generals who said taking the focus off our enemy in Afghanistan and sidetracking for persoanl reasons weakened us and strengthened them.

So you know what? Republican or Democrat for our next president if thsi country had to call a draft the man responsible would be W because he set it all in motion for fun to be a war president.

( I use mcCain/clinton) only as examples of our next R/D possible presidents to give an example not because i endorse or even support either of them.

Kerry is the reason that Bush won in 2004. It wasn't that America really wanted Bush in the White House, it was that they didn't want Kerry.
