‘Astronomical Influences Influence Climate More Than CO2’
Here's the money line;
"As it turns out, this warming trend could be over anyway, according to Easterbrook, the geologist from Washington State. A slight cooling period that began to take hold in 1998 could endure for the next 30 years, he forecasts.
A phenomenon known as the “Pacific Decadal Oscillation” (warming and cooling modes in the Pacific Ocean) points the way, in his view.
“It’s practically slam dunk that we are in for about 30 years of global cooling,” he said. Not something you will read about in the media.”

Sorry to mess up your dope, GW zealots, but you just can't make this shit up.
So what is warming or cooling?

Well, that would certainly explain the totally freezing cold winter we had around my neck of the woods last winter. And the unusually cool summer we've had here this year. Good article, very similar to one I had read a year or so ago in a science magazine at the eye doctor written by a swedish atronomer.

Yea the good ol' envirowhackos seem to forget there are a lot of factors are to blame for weather patterns on our planet. Man's activity is a very very small part of that. I think the sun has more affect and effect on our planet and our weather than all the cars and trucks could ever have in a thousand years.

Boy, that is good news. Just imagine what the hurricanes and monsoons and extremely heavy rains and the rapid melting of glaciers and the northern polar ice would be like if it weren't for the global cooling. Why the US midwest would be sitting in 5 feet of water, Houston would be the name of a lake, Georgia would be desert, Burma would be the name of an ocean bay, and looters would be chipping away at the abandoned Hoover dam to get at the steel for scrap.
By the way, when are your scientists going to report the truth: burning coal releases oxygen from taking CO2 out of the air and combining the carbon with the carbon in the coal producing microdiamonds that once extracted from the air will make conservatives rich as they grow massive diamond from burning coal?

You sure are pinheaded mental midget with all your lies. There is NO MELTING ICE CAPS and the sun, sunspots, our orbit around the sun, and a million other things affect the weather on the earth far more than any man made elements.

No melting ice caps? How about the glaciers? It's all a cast left wing conspiracy to ummm... ahhhh... Because they wanna.... Ummmm...
Huh, what's the point of fostering a global scientific consensus made up of thousands of scientists again? To unseat republicans? BRILLIANT! LMAO... And once again, some lone dissenter and his specualtions are offered up as evidence against this massive body of research... by folks who actually have degrees and are employed in the field.
No melting ice you say? We're looking at an open northwest passage for the first time in the 400 years we've been looking for one... probably longer.
What evidence do you have that glaciers aren't actually melting? Just give me one comparison set of photos or a graph or something. Then I'll bury you in an avalanche of data showing definitively, that you got duped.

Can you say pretty fucking cold without it?
Thing is, fossil fuels are problematic for many reasons, not just the carbon release associated with their use, and the impact that has on the environment.
Oil has many better uses than burning, there are many reasons to turn to alternatives.....
