Default How the RNC bought the Police

The deal required the Republican Party’s host committee to buy insurance covering up to $10 million in damages and unlimited legal costs for law enforcement officials accused of brutality, violating civil More..rights and other misconduct.

Other cities who hosted conventions in recent years - including Denver, Boston, New York and Philadelphia - either covered those costs from their general budgets or used tax money to buy insurance policies.

But St. Paul officials, led by Mayor Chris Coleman, insisted the committee use its private donations to purchase the insurance policy. They had some leverage because the party had named St. Paul as the location for the convention before striking the city services agreement in January 2007.

So does that mean that if the DNC did the same thing that they bought the police first? I dont get the difference of who pays for the policy. The government buys the policy and its OK, but a private organization buys the policy and now they have bought the police?

Look, you and people like you wanted our nation flooded with 100k police more than we already had so live and deal with it. Besides I think all this police protection was needed more for the RNC because of all the whack jobs that protested and threw shit and piss and bottles and the like.

Ever notice how it always seems to be the way left wackos that cause so much public unrest?

So, financially speaking, the RNC allowed the pigs in St. Paul to violate the rights of people on the street, and they didn't worry about any litigation that would follow because the RNC had already paid the damages up front. Jesus. Jumping. Christ. Where do we live people? The United States of America or Nazi Germany?

You know those Bill of Rights that we love so much? Kiss it goodbye, because it's already gone.
