Far too often in debate the source is attacked at the expense of the information provided. As with all information delivered in a revenue driven media circus, there will be leanings at least, fallacious spin at worst. But as with all things, there is usually a kernal of truth somewhere.

I'd like to hear who folks think are the best providers of information and news. As devoid as possible of spin and getting as close to journalistic intergrity as possible in these modern times.

Please be realistic. Fox isn't gonna fly, neither is Democracy Now or Air America.

If you want people give their true opinions then there shouldn't be any source of info omitted (a kind of censorship in part ).

He simply asked a question and through this whole thread you have done nothing but ankle bit him. I am simply a reader and have no horse in this race, but I would simply say to accuse someone who started the thread with a nonpartisan question of "wanting to control the board" by someone like you who obviously is trying to control this thread is a sad comedy at best.


In answer to the thread owner: People will trust whatever source they prefer, be it because it suits thier view, or feel that source is a subject matter expert or is all data, no opinions attached such as PEW.

I believe to take a discussion and deviate into a source argument is not typically a productive discussion most of the time. If another poster posts using a source you believe is "trash", for whatever reason, you can be fairly sure that arguing about the source will be unproductive, so ingnoring it works for me.

I can live with trolls crys of "your ingnoring my data and question better than I can deal with 100 replies arguing about a source credo based on my/ the other posters preconcieved views on the source.
