Yeah, let's go "there."
Your point being?
I come from one of the most imperfect families and I only take pride in my own accomplishments. I wouldn't like somone taking cheap shots at my family, because A) I love them, but also B), they are irrelevant if you're trying to criticize me.

Well honey boy. None of us are perfect. I am far from it. I am divorced. Yup you hear right. I am divorced. I had my first child outside of wed-lock. I married the woman who is the mother of both of my kids. So there you go, now you know my "secret"
Oh we were married for 15 years so it was not a short lived "romance" thing either.
My point? You brought it up I didn't What was your lame point? Or did you even have one? Doubtful.
My point is this, don't go trotting out someones trash unless you want the same for those you support. It seems that Obama has gotten a pass on his family but Palin is getting tarred and feathered for hers. And she is not throwing any member of her family under the bus.
You still wanna go there?

My point was that none of it should be brought out.
Of course.
But you still felt compelled to talk about your family stuff.....as if that proved your value as a person. It doesn't.
As for "you wanna go there" you don't even know where "there" is. That much is clear.

I know where is and I am not the one who brought them up or out. You seemed to imply that I had no knowledge of what it was like to have a "broken" family or family strife as if that should be some sort of badge of honor.
I am not the one dragging Palin through the mud on this. Nor am I the one bringing up Obama and his family history. But for those who slam Palin they should also be slamming their man Obama. But you and the rest of the liberal freaks seem to think its OK to be one sided.
Now do YOU know where "THERE" is?

You brought up Obama's family living on a different continent, one in a shack or a hut, I believe.
....implying that he's less worthy because of those family members.
I simply wanted to know if your pedigree is sound enough, if that's the criteria.
I am not slamming Palin over her daughter's pregnancy, so stop projecting and read what is written in MY posts (that is, if you're going to try to respond to MY posts). I am criticizing the whining being done on Palin's behalf, as if no one knew that the media would grab this story and run. I am slamming Palin over being insensitive to her daughter's personal life by accepting the VP nom, not because her daughter SHOULD be an issue, but because she obviously WILL be.

They should be.
With the hatred of Bush, and the huge lead Obama had just a month ago, this election should have been a cake-walk.
But with Wright spouting off, the ego trip to Europe - where America got an outside view of the cult followers of Obama, then the insane selection of Biden. Now McCain makes a really good choice in his VP - Obama is looking more like McGovern every day.

Until the democrats on this board acknowledge attacking Palin because of her daughter's indiscretions is wrong you are all scum. Attack her on the basis of what she believes in politically for the country, leave her daughter out of this. Simply acknowledge this line of attack is beneath good judgement and morals and all will be fine. Until then once again you are all scum and any twist you put on this only makes your scuminess thicker.

You've got it slightly backwards. They are attacking the daughter's indiscretions because of Palin's politics. The same as how conservatives are defending the daughter because of Palin's politics.
But if it was Obama's daughter.......I can't imagine the hoopla there'd be in AWE.

So two wrongs make a right?
Read what you wrote first. I mean seriously Ricie you are smarter than this.
It doesn't matter the reasons, attacking the daughter is pure wrong. End of discussion. Attacking Obama's kids is wrong as well.

Palin made Dems crap their pants and now they are rubbing it all over their faces.
These reporters that are obvious Obama supporters have this "stunned, it ain't fair" look on their faces.
