Freedom Of Speech For Me But NOT For You!
Black Minuteman leader prepares to sue Columbia.
Harassed, taunted with the 'N-word' during event quashed by protesters.

I don't get how he can sue Columbia as an Institute. Did they organise or rally the protest in any way, had they contributed to the protesters by aiding their assault on the stage or the person there on. I am sure their insurance will oblidge with any physical damages claim but how can they be held responsible for the mental anguish.

Funny thing about public funded schools in this country. Let a student try to lead other students in a public prayer, support for the president, support the traditional family, or the citizens of this country and any public funded school in the nation will find 10 ways to shut them up and shut them down. But if someone is launching disgusting attacks, verbal or physical, on any of those folks the same school will suddenly find itself withou the means to stop anyone from doing anything.

Hi Bloke,
I saw the film of this. It looked like something staged in a third world country. There were 5-6 security guards provided by the school. The protesters started yelling, and rushed the stage. On cue ALL of the security guards stepped back allowing the protesters access to the speakers. At NO time did they try to stop the protesters, or help the speakers. It was a riot, and looked like it was well planned out.
It is probably somewhere on www.youtube.com .If you get a chance check it out.

The security gaurds were probably afraid of litigation themselves, if they manhandled any students. I saw the film too, and as a vetreran activist am disgusted by the actions of the protesters. There should be criminal charges filed against the protesters, not for using the "n" word but for inciting a riot. I do not agree with the Minutemen or anything they stand for, but the way to speak out against them, in accordance to the Constitution is outside, or inside with a banner, and to submit peacefully when asked to leave.

The world was a more peacefull place when people worried more about getting their ass kicked, for being a idiot, and less about litigation.

I started a thread concerning this event.
"All humans all equal, but some humans are more equal than others".
I provided the video, the student flier and internet flier rallying the protest.
What occurred in Columbia was the stereotype of a european socialist activism.
I even provided souces regarding the minutemen and their organization.
I really am disgusted by the whole scenario and very glad Columbia is taking a hit - legally.
The racism and hostility acted out in this auditorium is an example of our current political propagandist problems and it exemplifies our up and coming leftist activists.
