I disagree "IHNR", if folks thought that nothing could be done in 1776 there would be no USA. Yes it will be hard to do: but it can be done. However, "we the people" can not expect the run-of-the-mill standard politician of today to DO WHAT IS NEEDED TO FIX OUR BROKEN GOVERNMENT!
WE THE PEOPLE MUST FIX OUR GOVERNMENT !!!!!!!!!!!!
A Good Start:
(1)--Cast Your Vote against any/every Senator that has served 2 or more terms: a Senator gets ONLY 2 (6-year) terms in Washington before he/she MUST step down -- for at least one full term.
(2)--Cast Your Vote against any/every Representative that has served 7 or more terms: a Representative gets ONLY 7 (2-year) terms in Washington before he/she MUST step down for three full terms.
[All Congressional Re-Election Campaigns are Conducted OUT-SIDE of the Time the Senate -or- House are in session: an elected official must resign to campaign for or seek a different office: if elected to an office, fufill the term of that office or resign.]
(3)--Never Elect any person who is/has been a direct Family Member of a Previous President/VP within the previous 20 years.
(4)--Supreme Court Justices are appointed to strictly alternate limited terms of 11 years, 13 years & 15 years: after that they either retire or return to a Federal DISTRICT Bench.
I know this is not Perfect: but it is far better then the broken grid-locked government we now have. ...pjwky
