Default Water and Oil, the mothers milk of life.

Thank god for the natural, organic miracle from the ground, oil. Though not life sustaining, oil is every much a part of our daily lives as water. It oozes out of the earth all over the globe and makes the lights come on. It's blackness swirls the oceans, only to seep back into the earth and be reabsorbed. The wonder that it can be extracted, cooked, then used to power its own distribution. It burns inside the internal combustion engine then exhausts into the atmosphere in an inert gas that slowly seeps back into the earth, once again. From the ground to the air, from the air back to earth, only to be slowly sifted and filtered back to rock.

Little factoid. The earth oozes more oil into our water supply than we spill by far. Yet the earth takes care of it for us. Guess mother earth knows what she is doing and environmental wackos don't even trust their own mother to take care of them.

Typical libs, find evil in the greatest commodity known to man. What's hilarious is that unlike cigarettes and saturated fats, they willfully consume it every day. Additionally, many of them are invested in the oil companies through their 401k's and index funds. Hypocrisy at its finest.

When a liberal drives an SUV, it is acceptable. In the name of humanity, libs must be safe on the highways, so that they can live to fight the polluters and enemies of mother earth. Kinda like the rationalization of Al Gore flying on private jets. We must keep these heros of nature alive at all costs.

Of course what's always left out of the debate is, the use of petroleum in the making of plastic products. It's too easy for libs to use gas consumption in their complaint, and never is oil's other uses ever mentioned. Why don't libs talk about alternatives to plastic usage? The same people demanding we don't drill for oil, are drinking from a plastic bottle. (Now I know many plastic items come from corn, I get it) but the more we use corn in this, the higher the prices for food products. Bottom line Oil is the "mother's milk" of our economy.

Nope. Most plastics made start out as natural gas. Easier to start with the smaller molecules and build the chain you want. Natural gas is often associated with oil wells. Why the hell are we burning such a valuable resource that serves as a base for plastics, pharmaceuticals and host of other products?

Wood, coal, whale oil and others have served as major energy sources in the past. Why not move on now to renewable and nuclear sources?

Don't ask me, I am not opposed to nuclear. Ask the libs. They are the ones opposed to expanding our resources, and developing alternatives, beyond "tune ups, and tire pressure.

Two other people you need to ask is John Kerry and Ted Kennedy because they opposed the wind mills on Cape Cod.
