thankfully we are all smarter than out elected counterparts and we know that inflation is driving the oil prices to the moon as well as everything else in this country and the only reason the oil companies lead with such high prices is they are traded on the commodities markets and the price as reflected by inflation his us in the wallet immediately where as other pricing such as milk etc take longer to hit us.

In time that same price hike will hit and everything goes up, our wages or course always losing ground.

The problem is that our dollar is only worth 2 cents thanks to runaway inflation. It was worth 4cents in 2001 when dubya took office.

The bottom line is that neither party gives a shit and will in fact try to use this to socialize the country more than it is which of course means less freedom for us as a side effect to that end.

Then of course there is ron paul, who at least understands the roots of the problems and wants to get rid of the federal reserve corporation. To bad america is either to ignorant, complacent, or complicit to fix it.
