Theres nothing to win and just beacuse AP no longer reports on these atattacks doent mean they arent happing. These few sucide bommbs go on everyday are reported everywhere else. The media is simply lost focus and moved on to Obamamania.

The US has to take care of it's own soil before meddling with the problems of the rest of the world. As soon as everything is under control in Iraq, which I don't know what the military view of the state of being under control is, that the troops can get to go home.

I think that most people believed that if enough resources were put into the war that it could be won. I think the question, however, was whether it would be a phyrric victory of sorts.
