I just can't understand conservatives like Odorpuss.

Conservatives - those supposed supporters of the worker's race to the financial bottom called "Capitalism" - should be cheering the demise of American industry. Along with trying to stop other's rights to abortion and buggery, a docile work force of fucking scabs willing to undercut their fellow workers wages "any person who wants thirty cents an hour instead of twenty-five (the corporate's are paying) is a Red,*" is their core belief.

The Chinese, with their obedient work ethic and willingness to work 18 hours a day for subsistence wages, are obviously the new industrious and sober Puritans - a capitalist's wet dream!

The only difference is the Chinese aren't intent on persecuting "sinners," just dissenters who want a better deal. Just like the union busting American bosses did all last century.

This country has lost jobs evey month of 2008...So what country are you talking about? If this economy is booming only the filthy rich are benifiting.

I said the manufacturing sector was coming back in a big way. Squawk doubted my statement but refused to say why. He's just a know-nothing troll.

Now, back to your question. It is true that manufacturing has, for the last decade, moved out of the United States. There are many reasons for that trend; taxation, increased manufacturing costs, slim profit margins, etc. But, what has changed in the last few years? Simple. The value of the dollar as compared to the Euro. It has now become profitable for European companies to outsource their work to the United States. The only real problem with this new trend to send manufacturing work to the United States is that we sorely lack a skilled workforce that is capable to handle this new workload.


If Squawk or Sir Lez Fatperson had asked, they could've learned something instead of becoming the forum idiots.
