Its worth it to Corporate media to pay 400,000,000 to have rush on their side in politics. Republican\corporate politics that is. Many car owners and radio listeners only get a few stations and Rush is on 3 hours a day. Hes kind of like a 3 hour monopoly radio guy. He is one big commercial for corporate greed being a good thing.

Whoa nelly!! Newspapers and news are on the 'computer'. Are you saying what Rush and his ilk spew is news/actual information? Come on....
BTW, It;s reruns of Law and Order. Don't you like music?

no what I am saying is the News on the computer you don't read it the same way as you do a newspaper/watch a news program/or radio. you skim through the headlines and pick the one you are interested in. WIth a newspaper/magaizne you tend to not skim through the headlines

With Rush and his type (Lib's and Con's) there is some truth to it. Like I have said before one time I was watching the ultra liberal Phil Donahue (When we had his show on cable) he was saying the same thing about a subject that Rush was saying earlier and they both agreed.

like I said so many times people love to kill the messenger and not the message. It is easer for the people that are uninformed to get them to agree with them.

You don't get it, do you? If the same GOP you claim is propping up this phenomena were that smart, they would have never lost the Congress. You're giving the "Re Pubes" way too much credit. The real success is what Rush brings to the air waves. He validates what we never hear others in the media state. Things like America is great. That freedoms and liberties are worth fighting for. That the greatness of America comes from the goodness of the people, and not the government.

It's pro America, freedom and liberty daily. And if this cuts into your crawl, then you make the choice to turn him off.

While this is going on, Clear Channel extending huge for Rush, CBS, print media are laying off employees, and are downsizing.

What you may resent with Rush is what is befalling the other medias. People in droves choose to tune Rush on, while others in droves are choosing to tune CBS off, and stop buying news papers. Rush holds advertisers, while New papers are losing theirs.

Maybe it is the tone of the other medias that need reform? If Ford drops 28% they need to change something. And they are and hopefully will. So it seems CBS is in Ford mode, and they need to change something. Suppose it should start with ideology reported?

Lol..... In the south hes on the am dial along with Ingram ,Hannity, Savage and other right wing mouth pieces for the happy corporate\republican greed followers. Many other am channels are fuzzy and aren't easy to listen too, but never fear the right wingers always get heard in the south. Monopoly anyone? Corporations are just paying Rush and his kind to keep listeners happy about corporations running our government with the hopes of more Republican lapdogs.

The internet is another source of news. Along with TV and newspapers. Rush isn't news. It's opinion. Libs and Cons can have the same opinion. I don't want to kill anyone. Although I would like to kill some messages. Listen away. I'll take my music and sports.

well then maybe it is just me, but you know how fast I just skim through the damn head lines on the Computer, Hell I don't give a fuck about the news when I am on a computer? fuck the news. I want to argue with some one.
The only damn time out of the day is when I will pay attention to the news is when I am reading lunch or breakfast and I pick up the newspaper and I pretty much read it cover to cover. Or when I switch on the Am dial because I am so sick of hearing that fucking song "Bleeding heart" play over and over again on my car radio.

This is what the "fairness doctrine" is all about ..... ol' Rush is more successful, hence commands more compensation than ALL of the lib news anchors and lesser mouth pieces of the left COMBINED ...... and those weasels can't stand it! I'm sorry but all of the EQUAL TIME laws they can pass won't change that FACT ......

If they are serious about being heard ....maybe they can pass a law to force people to LISTEN to their bullshit ..... I wonder how that would work out....

I say this and I haven't seen or heard anything Rush has said in 15 years .... he doesn't appeal to my ears...

The bottom line is he can and does attract an audience .....

His opponents ...can't....

Political Correctness defined :
A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

For all of Foxnews watchers; they still can't seem to make Bushco popular or get-out all the great news that the Libtard Media denies us all.

Go figure.
